hey people. i've got something that might interest some of you.
i'm working for a radio station here in wales. and they've given me my own show where i'll be showcasing music written/performed buy disabled people. i'm fully awear that are some tallented singers and musicians here on the zone. so, if you have any material that you want to share, don't hesitate to send me a PQN or PM. and we can discuss things. don't worry if the quality isn't very good, i'm doing mostly unsigned performers. so i'm not expecting things to be recorded in a state of the art recording studio or anything like that. and also, don't worry if you think it's music i won't like. that isn't a factor. i'm not going on my own interests here. i just want to show people what can be done.

I'd be more than happy to do something with this. It sounds like fun. Only problem is, I haven't been able to write a song of my own yet. lol. Anyone got any ideas on that part? I can make up music just fine, it's just lyrics that stump me.

yeah I was gonna ask that! i have some recordings of me singing, (covers), but they're on tape. I'd love to do it, but I'll need to figure out a way to make my recordings with gold wave. Any help would be appreciated!

first off, iris, i'm not too bothered what format there in. MP3 would be preferable, but if you have them in a different format, then it's ok.
secondly, for those who want to listen, we'll be going live in a couple of weeks with any luck. still not sure when this particular show will be as i don't yet have enough material. but i'll let you know.

I am very interested in this, to be honest. Dan, what did you mean by unsigned performers? That is my only question. I do have some things. Most are flute things and some are kinda lengthy. I have two decent vocals, well maybe three including a duet I created with another of one of my friends demos, that I can send you as well. I'll talk to you more about it on msn.
I am working on getting a home studio set up, or the beginnings of one anyway. I should be able to compose instrumental stuff for you, as instrumental stuff is my specialty, given my emphasis of study is in instrumental performance. But if I can get a good lyricist, hmm there's something to think about. I arrange as well, or will be able once I get stuff set up. Anyway, very good luck!

Well, the partially finished song that i've got up on this board could be given out to someone, after I'm finished with it, to arrange. I ahd some artistic ideas for it and was thinking of eletric guitars etc.
If anyone wants a crack at writing a melody for it, feel free to leave me a pm or pqn.

Well, as for an update on things, I've gotten a good way into the goldwave thing, and just now looking for some new material, but I have a recording in the process of coming out soon, just been so crazy! Are you still doing this thing?

Tighing in to this, there's a new Facebook group called Facebook's Got Talent. There'll be a competition starting soon, which will have prises! You tallented peeps out there should at least join, or better still, take part! It isn't just people from the Zone or blind community! This is completely open to anyone! Matt

This sounds cool I'll be contacting you to send you some Stuff. Yeah I too have a problem with lyrics writing music is easy for me so to speak. However it seems now that I am on the hunt for a new singer for my band I have started writing some lyrics for some new songs.. don't know wher eits coming from lol.
